Fit to Fly was inspired by my experience trying to plan a trip while living with metastatic breast cancer — navigating travel insurance, medical questions, scan schedules, and that strange feeling of wondering how far into the future you're allowed to make plans.
The pink cancer ribbon becomes a flight path because that's exactly what this song means to me: cancer may be part of the journey, but it doesn't get to be the destination.
I plan in scans. I live in threes.
I don't know what three months from now will bring.
But today? I feel good.
And while I'm fit to fly — I fly. ✈️
